A good surprise this morning. Temperatures remain mild but the resort is reporting 20-35cm of fresh snow across the mountain this morning so fresh to play in.

It's a cold morning here in Nozawa but the sun is out and we are treated to beautiful blue skies, something of a contrast with yesterday.

Uenotaira area of Nozawa reports over 50cm of snowfall since yesterday morning, with at least 30cm of fresh fallen across the mountain.

Snow awaited me though with a nice layer of new snow on the ground - resort reporting up to 35cm in places since yesterday morning.

Not the snowfall I was hoping for overnight, but it has started and the resort is reporting up to 7cm on Uenotaira... just 1cm at Yamabiko.

It's another very cold morning here in Nozawa and I have more fresh to report too... since yesterday the resort is reporting 15-23cm of fresh snow across the mountain.

Good morning from a snowy Nozawa. Not heavy snow but a bit of snow, the resort reporting up to 20cm on upper slopes, 10cm mid mountain and just a bit at base.

Few cm of snow on the mountain since yesterday (up to 10cm higher up, just a bit lower down) and mixed weather conditions at 8am this morning.

Hello from Nozawa, I was in Nagano city yesterday and just made my way back to Nozawa mid-morning.... where it's snowing lightly at the moment.
