The sun is out over Nozawa this beautiful morning and the resort report up to 16cm of fresh snow on upper slopes.

Morning from Nozawa and some more snow overnight as this run of winter like weather continues.

Good morning from Nozawa and the return of winter conditions continues with more snowfall across the mountain.

After a dry spell, this is more like it.

20cm on the top areas of the resort and 10cm around base.

A good surprise this morning. Temperatures remain mild but the resort is reporting 20-35cm of fresh snow across the mountain this morning so fresh to play in.

It's a cold morning here in Nozawa but the sun is out and we are treated to beautiful blue skies, something of a contrast with yesterday.

Uenotaira area of Nozawa reports over 50cm of snowfall since yesterday morning, with at least 30cm of fresh fallen across the mountain.

Snow awaited me though with a nice layer of new snow on the ground - resort reporting up to 35cm in places since yesterday morning.

Not the snowfall I was hoping for overnight, but it has started and the resort is reporting up to 7cm on Uenotaira... just 1cm at Yamabiko.
