New snowfall at base 25cm
Snowfall at base this season 1042cm

Ahhh late March, don't you just love it (....when it gives us snow!)

According to the trusty resort folk, some upper areas of the mountain have been on the receiving end of up to 50cm of snow in the last day! Just think how warm it was last week and then re-read that. Mad.

Still a decent amount lower on the mountain as well giving us a refresh we can only have hoped for.

The sun will be back with us by tomorrow so we need to make the most of these fresh conditions while they last. Expect it to warm up by the weekend.

Fresh snow to report since yesterday (reported by resort):

Yamabiko - 45cm!

Uenotaira - 50cm!!

Hikage - 35cm

Nagasaka - 30cm

Karasawa - 25cm

Official snow depths:

Yamabiko - 440cm

Uenotaira - 370cm

Hikage - 220m

Nagasaka - 220cm

Karasawa - 150cm
