Yes!
After a dry spell, this is more like it.
Snow and some more snow on the mountain. Uenotaira since yesterday morning apparently signed off on a delivery of 48cm of fresh snowfall with nearly 40cm on Yamabiko and a healthly 20cm chunk lower down. And it continues to snow and forecast to the day, perhaps easing off by tomorrow though possibly snow showers through until early weekend.
These sudden March snowfalls are always fun. With time running out on winter, we can just hope for as much as possible over the next few days.
Quite a few people heading up to the upper slopes I see early on this morning and I can't blame them. I'll be going up there myself soon to see what it's like up there.
Pretty good I should imagine!
