An early report this morning, as I need to be up on the hill (for a change, not behind the controls of a snow thrower!).

A cloudless blue sky; not something we see very often in Myoko, at least this month!

There wasn’t much fresh snow early this morning, but it has really picked up since about 6:30. Let’s say 10cm and counting.

An early start today, since I have business on the hill (ah, the morning commute on the chairlift... it’s a hard life).

Glad I’m reporting a little late today (another day not getting up super early to plow; busy start to the day anyway; other good excuses), because the snow has started to come down, just as the morning TV reports were saying.

We’ve got a little sun, and very little new snow, welcome break for your tired snow removal teams.

The snow has decided to take a break, at least momentarily, as the sun comes out with some blues skies appearing.

"Furi sugi!" my neighbor called out to me—"Too much snow!"

The wind and snow came as expected, right during the lunch hour yesterday.

We may lose a little snowpack on a sunny day, but it is worth it.

A strange and violent day yesterday, with screaming winds and a lot of lifts not moving.

What a night.... rain, lots of rain, mild temperatures, the the wind came in, the snow started to fall (heavily, again) and we're seeing a lot of lift closures already.

At last, a day without snow!

You think the snow can’t fall any faster, or in bigger quantities, and then we get a morning like today.
