The snow yesterday morning didn't really amount to much.

Kagura is reporting no new snowfall overnight, but it has started snowing this morning and has started to stick.

It's snowing again. 9cm at our Yuzawa measuring point at 8am with a bit less than that out to the north in Ishiuchi.

What a lovely morning it is! For the moment, we have a beautiful mix of blue sky, sunshine and some cloud.

Yesterday we had some quite bright skies in the morning, making for a good start for GALA Yuzawa and Joetsu Kokusai.

Just a little more snow since yesterday and we are staring this Friday morning with cloudy skies early on.

There's fresh snow to report this morning, along with very good news that GALA Yuzawa and Joetsu Kokusai will both open from tomorrow.

Some light snow through the night, though it has not really amounted to much more than dustings around town.

It was snowing quite heavily at times yesterday, particularly mid to late morning. Less since then but a bit more overnight and over 25cm to report.

Yesterday the snow eased off after early morning (was hoping for more!) but we have had some more overnight.

Happy to report the first snowfall recorded at town level this morning.

It is not the most pleasant of mornings.

Yesterday was very windy. It was really blowing about, and it's now easy to see why Kagura didn't open yesterday!

Kagura was, of course, hoping to open from today. The wind forecast put a stop to that, and the opening has been delayed until tomorrow (Wednesday 27th November).
