Good morning from Yuzawa.
Yesterday the snow eased off after early morning (was hoping for more!) but we have had some more overnight. There is up to 10cm (and counting) in places at town level, with surely more than that as you go higher up.
We are expecting snow throughout the day today - at times heavy snow? - and clearer skies from tomorrow for a few days.
More of Kagura ski area is now open and there is no need for all that walking between lifts any more. You can now ski/board back to Mitsumata using the Family course.
Joetsu Kokusai has delayed opening until Wednesday 11th December... at the earliest. It will all depend on snow, of course.
