It is not the most pleasant of mornings.
It's rather wet this morning in town with some nasty rain coming down. Not sure if it is snowing up top but Kagura has a snow>rain icon on the official site.
The webcams show that there has been a covering of snow up at Yuzawa Kogen, so Kagura has surely got some too.
The ski area is also warning of strong winds and that the pair lift will be operating rather than the quad.
Clearer skies are forecast for tomorrow and Tuesday with the next snow expected later in the coming week.

Mitsumata Ropeway (8:00am until 4:30pm, last one going up at 2:00pm)
Mitsumata Number 1 quad lift (8:00am until 3:45pm, last one going up at 2:15pm)
Mitsumata Number 2 romance pair lift (8:15am until 3:45pm)
Kagura Gondola (8:15am until 3:30pm, last one going up at 2:30pm)
Kagura Number 1 quad lift (8:30am - 3:00pm) > pair lift today
How to get between Mitsumata and Kagura:
Some walking is required to get between Mitsumata Area over to the open ski run at Kagura
A 230m walk between the top of Mitsumata Ropeway and the base of the Mitsumata quad lift
A 170m walk between the top of Mitsumata quad lift and Mitsumata Number 2 pair lift
It is not possible to ski in the Mitsumata Area yet (only the main run at Kagura is open)
