marzipan 0
Hi there Does anyone know if and where you can buy beers (specifically Guinness, overseas draught bitters, etc) online in Japan? That may be asking too much, but worth a try!
mogski 0
Have you tried here or here?
marzipan 0
Yes. Have you found anything then?
mogski 0
Only what's in my fridge from the cool little liqour store blow my apartment building.
Goemon 0
You might want to try here: http://www.bento.com/wkbeer12.html or here (not really online ordering, but): http://www.bento.com/beerstor.html BTW, Isn't the local Guinness brewed at Sapporo Brewery?
badmigraine 0
Marz, the answer to your prayers: http://www.townsquare.jp/ Click on Beer House in the middle of the page, then sigh in anticipation of the foamy payoff... You can toggle the whole site to English by clicking the word "English" on the very upper right of the screen. Some fine brews indeed!! They sell snacks too for those as likes to eat with their drinking.
marzipan 0
Fantastic! Boddies and Green Guinness. I NEED THAT BEER. Have you ordered from them before at all badmigraine?

marzipan 0
That site seems a bit iffy to me. And can this be right? Heinz Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce 4x415g ¥ 375 ?????? Thats 1/4 the cost at FBC?????? I hope it is right but it just doenst seem that way...
scouser 4
If they're that price, they'll sure get a lot of customers
xxx 2
The price is right I think. Just try putting some in your cart and see the postage costs! That'll bring you back down to earth.
SKI 15
badmigraine Thanks for that link there, looks like I have found what I was looking for.
marzipan 0
Thanks. Looks like the more you buy the cheaper it gets with the stuff from overseas. FBC always seems way to expensive, will need to compare. I'll be ordering some beer though, thanks for the link,
LiquidX 0
Great stuff!
MalcomB 0
I think you'll find it expensive whichever way you go. But for those home comforts, not much you can do but pay right? It's good to know though that things are no longer out of reach. When I first came here there was almost nothing and no way to get anything from back home. How things have changed. ugachuga 0
Mars Bars! Walkers Crisps! Monster Munch! Sauces! Me want. Anyone know of any "yummy" smilies?
grungy-gonads 54
I'm always prepared to pay for these things every now and again. I put it down to the "I need it to stop me from being homesick" excuse. After all, you're not eating a tin a day (are you? ). Put an order in every couple of months = heaven.
