Goemon 0
Quote: it appears that I am Mr Pinku. How convenient that you already own the uniform: pink shirt : check! manbag : check! shiny-ass shoes : check! check!
damian 0
Man, I have taken some jibes in my time but this is cruel! Whats wrong with shiny shoes??!
enderzero 0
Quote: Pink: Why do I have to be Mr. Pink? Joe: Because you're a faggot!! But seriously, I don't mean to be preaching the benefits of tip culture. I don't go around tipping in Japan. It just irks me when people get the attitude that because they don't tip where they come from they are going to refuse to tip in America. It seems to be the worst from a certain large country in the southern hemisphere. So it's a tax, okay. Also, I am not saying cultural change is an impossibility, but let's be realistic. Do you want to fundamentally change society...or do you just want to save a couple bucks?
Goemon 0
Sorry for harshing on your shiny, Sunday school girl shoes, db. There's nothing wrong with them, but I needed one more item to make a proper list (two items seemed kind of paltry for a "list", even if those two spoke volumes about your qualifications to be Mr. Pink). IceEiji 0
Its very complicated and frustrating issue for many Japanese about the overseas travel.
damian 0
I didn't read as far in the Res Dogs script as the faggot part. I retract my identity with Mr Pinku.

LiquidX 0
When I get bad service I really want to make a point of NO TIP. Want to take money off the bill actually, but that might not go down too well

HotMagma 0
Anyone ever done a runner?_ - what happened? I usually give a small tip, but nowhere near 15%. No way. And if the waiter/ress is awful they get balls.
akibun 0
It looks like complex thing even with many foreigner themselves I think How and when do you learn about it in your own country?? From parent?
Stefan 0
Not really from parents, just from friends and your personal choice. In the US tipping is almost obligatory I'm guessing from reading the other posts. In the UK it's not, but is the polite thing to do, and is always done on long taxi rides or in resteraunts.. pjem 0
"In the US tipping is almost obligatory" ...is that so? I did not know that. Do they complain if you don't tip them?
ug 0
I have seen Japanese pay a 5 UKpound tip on a 10 UKpound bill. Japanese tourists must be very very popular if they do that as a habit.
