gamera 0
When you have some pizza, how thick would you like to have some cheese on top ? People say pizza in Japan really have few cheese on top. I am okay with that few cheese, too much if it's 1cm thick but if that is what people want, I have to try. What kinda toppings would you like?
roswell43 0
lots of cheese - pref 3 or 4 different kinds. Cheese on Jpizzas is usually very very stingy.
me jane 0
Not too worried about the amount of cheese but I'm against mayonnaise and/or cream sauce on pizzas. Got a Pizza Hut near my house
gamera 0
Yeah roswell43, that's what usually Americans tell me. But if it's 1cm thick cheese on top of a pizza, is it just good or still less than supposed? me jane, if it's mayonnaise, it's more like okonomiyaki Hum... cream sauce, have never thought about that combo. A kiwi friend of mine showed me his way - appricot jam and some chicken on top of pizza, it's good!
rach 1
Lots of cheese, but not too much (1cm!!) I like some spicy sauce on there, salami, cheese, piman, onion, tomatoes.
gamera 0
Hi Rach I tried salsa sauce instead of pizza sauce to make it more spicy and that was good. Anchovy sauce is also good, you try!( not instead of pizza sauce, you just put some )
sakebomb 0
Have to agree with Rach 1cm of cheese and some spicy sauce and meat(choriso).
miteyak 0
I cm of cheese? I've just figured out the root cause of the U.S. weight problem. I love cheese, but 1 cm on a pizza sounds disgusting. I think I'll keep looking to the Italians for the real thing. (Where are the winky icons when you need one?) And to the locals... ABSOLUTELY NO SODDING POTATO!
Error404 0
I quite like potato on there actually. Surprising even myself.
rach 1
I actually was meaning that 1cm was way too much. I like the cheese but not that much!
gamera 0
Yeah miteyak maybe causes heart attacking as well. Error 404, do you boil some potatoes beforhand or just put some on top of a pizza then grill it? Of course sliced ones, right? Rach I agree, but some seem to love that much lol
cheeseman 1
I like my cheese. (Perhaps you knew that)

indosnm 0
we used to muck around when working at pizza hut to see how much cheese we could put on a pizza. telling ya you don't want to eat cheese several cm's thick! makes one feel very sick.
ug 0
Strips of boiled potato added to the top of the pizza along with the cheese, sauces, etc - then cooked.
smiler 0
several cms thick. no, I don't want to eat that. Pizza can be really poor here though, not one of the foods that Japan does well generally.
js 0
Thin base; lotsa vegies - mushrooms, capsicum, etc; bacon or heavily smoked ham, anchovies, pickled artichoke, olives, handful of chilli, and a sprinkling of pungent cheese - tried bluevein once ... REALLY nice. (Only ever use a tomato based sauce with a plentiful supply of garlic.) Yo'all might smell me before ya see me, but life's too short to worry about such stuff ... yep, a devoted foodie!! woywoy 0
Nothing beats something simple and fresh, straight out of the oven, like a MARGARITA pizza. Fresh oregano a must! Although I do have to admit I also like Napoli pizza.
