I think you are onto something there BP. Instead of snow they can use colombian marching powder and crates of beer as sleds. Then have Boon, Warne from Aus vs Botham and Fat Freddie. New Ashes?? bushpig 0
Bring it on! But don't forget about Steve Waugh! One of the toughest sledgers ever!
gamera 0
But women's curling seemed to bring the first medal to Japan.
number9 0
Really? Japanese women pulled off a couple of big upsets against Canada and the Brits, but they'll need to be consistently good against other teams, and beat the favourites again to medal.

snobee 0
Watched 5 womens games now. Been the highlight of the circus. The japanese girls are cool - not a prima donna in sight. Tough ahead - good luck.
snobee 0
Just beat the Italians. Fantastic Game. Bit my nails - jeeez. On to the next.
SerreChe 2
I saw the canadian women's curling team. They're all flaming red-heads with nerdy glasses! Quite a sight!!! They really make the other teams look hot.
frannyo 2
Curling is amazing. Fantastic sport! I'm really into it.
snobee 0
And the women bowed out. It was good fun while it lasted. Maybe the sudden fake interest by the media in curling over the last couple of days, can help the team get some hard deserved sponsorship/promotion/cash etc. Probably just not exciting/glamorous/trendy enough for the corp. image. number9 0
Nah, didn't happen with hockey in 98.
misorano 1
IMHO curling is most definitely a sport for 2 main reasons: 1. It has a clear cut winner (i.e. no judges impressions) 2: It is not accompanied by music. To me anything done to music is a performance not a sport. Also it seems anything done to music requires the judges to make gut call. Oh well, back to watching the short program
