Mine is to improve all-round and be able to hit any snowboard park I find with confidence, something I've not quite been able to do so far. Also, try to get out there more than last year, and be better with my weather timing.

Lotsa weekday riding.

Jumps where I don't land on my head.

Dry underpants. I had considerable spasticity of the powder skirt last season leading to wet underwear. I'm going to try tucking the powder skirt into my trousers this year, and wear a substantial belt.

(Good topic Wizz! Positive thinking and image training - way to go)

2. Mucho powder to be cut up

3. Keeping the drive from the Tokyo area to Hakuba in less than 4 hrs.

4. All the time weekend reservations at Snowbeds.

5. No smoking on the chair in front of me or in the lodge.

6. Long sunny spring season.

7. Lots of snow and sun for the April/May/June Backcountry

It's not that much to ask, is it....

TS, as I understand it, the 'objectives' mean things over which you have some control.

Are we to understand then that you'll be carrying a slingshot in your pocket for controlling the smoking of the other guests on the lifts? All power to your arm...

Start getting some jumps on a more regualr basis.

Will be hitting the 1/2 pipe at Falls Creek in September (the chef at the lodge has threatened to drag meo out there), so I hope to be getting some air in the pipe and also get some tabletops nailed.

More steep and deep more often with a strict regime of crowd avoidance. Do a backcountry riding /avalanche awareness course and ride safely. Bigger jumps/drops, improve switch riding and general techique, and maybe just maybe have a go at the pipe.

Oz, not as far as I know. That's why it's an objective for the coming season.
