They took ages when I got ADSL set up, I had to take a day off work the day it got installed because they couldn't tell me even about when they could come, it cost a fortune for about 10 minutes work, and they are just crap.

Christmas really does end here on 24th December. It's quite amusing. On the 25th eat some Kentucky, eat some sponge cake, then that's it! I'll be overseas this year, can't wait.

Best ramen I've ever had was in Yamagata. I was told it was "famous", but always a bit sceptical as the the scope of the word as it's used here. Famous in Japan or famous in the tiny village were were at was not specified.
