634-maru 4
Secom, shite imasu ka? Just wondering esp. people with houses, do you have any security system going on, or is it just door and key?
Chriselle 158
Sure...Secom and Alsok are the two big companies. No security at our house.....way down here in inaka.
Metabo Oyaji 71
We have a security system. Not that we have anything worth stealing.
snowdude 44
We have two security systems they are called dogs.
DumbStick 13
We just have a very huge and sturdy door with double locks. Didn't see the need for anything more than that. Just out of interest, how much would a basic SECOM security thing cost?
Chriselle 158
....
DumbStick 13
Kowai!
Chriselle 158
And Snowdude's got TWO of em.... Kowai is right...!!
7-11 2
For most houses here, a flimsy key lock seems sufficient. Lots of people don't even use that when they go out.
Go Native 70
We have no security system and don't ever lock our house. This time of year we leave sliding doors and windows open all day anyway to let the sea breeze in in the afternoon. Cools the house down a bit by the time we get home from work. It's not like we own anything that valuable. It was the same when we lived in Japan.
Tubby Beaver 209
I often left the windows open when we lived in Shonan, to allow the seas breeze in as well.......but we lived on the 3rd floor, the door was always locked
Go Native 70
I'd rather they didn't have to break anything if they want to get in. Everything we have inside the house is adequately insured. If they're that desperate they're welcome to it. Still we've not locked the doors to our houses now for over 10 years. Never had anything stolen.
Metabo Oyaji 71
What was your address again?
Go Native 70
The people renting our Japan house probably lock the door.... And it really wouldn't be worth spending the money to come to Australia to steal what little we have in our house here.
seemore 66
I have heaps of items they could steal but if they want in badly they will find a way No alarm just a flimsy glass door and leave windows open We have had flash security in previous homes but never turned them on
Alexander L 80
Seemore, can you name the items please. I don't want large TVs or home appliances. Watches, jewelry, gold bars, cash etc. And address please.

yamayamayama 2
Just out of interest, how much would a basic SECOM security thing cost? Would be interesting to know. Just a lock and key here.
Tubby Beaver 209
I dont have a security system........nor a door key, we have a numbered key pad that we type a code into to open our front door
