It's been a tad more humid lately than I expected but nothing like Shonan. So you don't miss the beach and bikinis then? Enjoyed my first Aki Aji the other night, courtesy of my local conbini (the one with 2 numbers) and very nice it was too, though I'll reserve full judgement until I've had a few more cans! I've been a couple of times but its a bit far for me to cycle everyday. However, winter is now around the corner and I'm sure I won't give a toss about beaches when the pow is falling. The beers there are twice the price of Japan for Tiger and 3 times the price for imported beer. It's not good for tourism which is one of the major industries they have there.
