grungy-gonads 54
Good going there Black Mountain. Were tickets easy to get hold of (and expensive?)
rach 1
Only saw the one game that was on the tv here. Wasn't very entertaining as has been said. Will be exciting soon though with the Premier League creeping up on us. Hopefully we might actually sign someone!
Thundercat 60
Good going there Black Mountain. Were tickets easy to get hold of (and expensive?) I didn't pay for either actually, they were both gifts from friends and clients. ManU was 7,000¥ for seats in the unreserved section at the end of the field. We ended up not getting very good seats but they were under the roof which kept the rain off our heads. The Arsenal tix were 8,000¥ for category 1 seats just in behind the dugouts. Very very good seats. Really lucked out on getting them for free but I was sure to get some Tokyo banana as gifts!
pie-eater 207
Hopefully we might actually sign someone! There seems to be way too much (yes!) faffing about really.
big-will 7
I see Suarez played a short while for Liverpool... but importantly he didn't smile much.

xxx 2
Is the story of Real offering 100 (GBP, $, €, yen) for Bale right?
pie-eater 207
All the media are reporting it, so....have no idea. As good as he was last season, pretty mind boggling.
brit-gob 9
Madness isn't it. Spurs must be nuts to turn it down as well.
grungy-gonads 54
Transfer news: Spurs will cash in on Gareth Bale when Real Madrid offer over £80m He would make a very fine addition to any team but... come on. Excellent last season but based on one amazing season he's the most expensive transfer ever? If he goes for 80 mill, we want at least 50 for Wazza!
NoFakie 45
Apparently Nani didn't go on the Man U preseason tour because he was "having a nose operation". Shamone!
pie-eater 207
If he is trying to look less Evil, he's simply doomed.
big-will 7
If only Nani were more consistent. Shows flashes of brilliance.
pie-eater 207
If Bale goes to Real Madrid, perhaps that's the trigger that brings Ronaldo back to the north west. To Wigan, of course. Rumour has it, he's been looking for a semi near the town centre.
grungy-gonads 54
A new low in 'reporting' Wayne Rooney is ready to let Manchester United fans act as judge and jury over his Old Trafford future. While United players who toured the Far East and Australia have the rest of the week off, Rooney was one of a handful to report for training on Thursday at Carrington, where he is believed to have had a brief chat with manager David Moyes. BagOfCrisps 24
Wigan Athletic began life in the Championship with an easy win as they beat 10-man Barnsley in Owen Coyle's first competitive game as Latics boss. Midfielder Ben Watson, who grabbed the winner in their 1-0 FA Cup final win against Manchester City in May, opened the scoring with a low 25-yard effort. Well done Wigan
