Metabo Oyaji 71
Hey, do skijo lift tickets include shohizei? We can only hope so. I was pleased to learn recently that highway tolls include consumption tax. Combined with the upcoming percentage reduction in ETC discount, it is like a double-dose of Abenomics. pie-eater 207
Well, I think they should put them up to 105 yen or perhaps 110 yen.
NoFakie 45
Hey, do skijo lift tickets include shohizei? We can only hope so. I was pleased to learn recently that highway tolls include consumption tax. Combined with the upcoming percentage reduction in ETC discount, it is like a double-dose of Abenomics. There's shohizei on gasoline too, so it's a triple dose! It also sounds like the shohizei gets added after the other taxes so it'll be about five yen more.

Metabo Oyaji 71
Hmm, property taxes went up this year -- I don't remember that being touted as part of Abenomics. Unexpected bonus!

Alexander L 80
Glad it's happened. I usually never bother to claim tax back but may do so for some beer money at the airport.
Metabo Oyaji 71
How much have they gone up MO? About 7%. Not really moanworthy, but a bit surprising, as my understanding was that they would generally go down over time, as depreciation kicked in. Apparently not. Or not any more.
