Slippery Jim 65 Posted June 7, 2012 Share Posted June 7, 2012 It was conventional skiing, but strangest place I ever skied was a small hill somewhere up in Yamagata reachable only by train. Can't remember the name now, and doubt it survived this 20+-year downturn -- I'd be surprised if that local train line still runs. Link to post Share on other sites
