Just got back from boxkick - feeling SO much better.

One more UWA Gym work out before I fly out for snow playtime.

Little bit annoyed that my sore right wrist and dodgy right knee are still acting up though.

Bringing my wrist brace and knee brace with me just in case...

 

Boxkick?, sounds painful. Is that like kickboxing but facing the other way? :D

I'll just munch on my pizza tonight I reckon and crack open some beers.

I got off to a late start this year, but I'm now up to ten miles, so I get to run around the local lake and there and back. It's all on tarmac, but there are very few cars, and the scenery is great.

New branded name for the session, which is just a Cardio Kickboxing Session, aim being fitness not competition kickboxing.

I'm going to eat a ton of pies in August.

And beer.

Can't wait.

We expect a thread...many pictures...lots of gratuitiuous updates.

If we can indulge ourselves, at least let us join in vicariously.

Heavy rain here tonight.

But I did not want to break my record and so went for a 2km walk.

Took the torch and decided to count the frogs.

I've been watching the tour de France every night since it started and although I'm really tired I reckon I'm getting fitter just watching it.

If you chew your pizza / chocolate / chips / snacks for long enough, you'll use more energy and end up losing weight.

Relaxing I suppose. And nice scenery. ;)

 

I had a spell going to the gym recently but stopped it.

I think I'm losing weight by just sweating right now so I'll go for the natural sweat diet.

I think I am losing a bit of weight by just not having as big an appetite and walking to work. I would rather spend 45 minutes walking than using public transport and getting there quicker in this weather. Public transport is not fun at this time of the year.
