Jynxx 4
I think he meant, slow chair with more seats/ fast chair with less seats. Like total number of people carrying capacity per hour ..
Error404 0
OK so a slow triple chair (taking 3 people up the mountain slowly), takes more people up the mountain than a fast quad (that takes 4 people up the mountain).

seemore 66
Maybe if they were spaced really close together they have to go slow to get the people on but there are more people going up. Seemore
Tubby Beaver 209
the ropeway at Tejindaira in Gunma is excrutiatingly slow.....think I could run up the hill quicker than that goes

Tubby Beaver 209
true....I'd forgotton that real men hike/run up hills for their turns and modern convieniences like Ropeway's and Helicopter's were for big girl's blouses....I gotta man up!!

yamabushi 3
If the chairs are too slow for your taste, you are welcome to bypass them and walk up hill. I guarantee you do that if you do that for the first few runs of the day you'll have nothing but gratitude for the slowest one on the land
ILoveZao 8
Depends on the mood and the weather. But I would always take a quick quad over a slow pair.
Tubby Beaver 209
Yamabushi, don't you know that REAL men don't use machinery of any sort?? They just take mountains at a single bound!
seemore 66
Slow chair lift but nice view. Hope its the same this New Years Day Seemore
thursday 1
that's family course in N. Good for the kids, but a major source of congestion for people wanting to get up to the gates from the budget accomodations from lower village.

HelperElfMissy 42
It is going to get worse and worse. I would have thought sticking a high speed quad or Gondola to take people up above the Ace Hut, leaving the slow Family Pair to take those actually lapping the Family Course would have been the sensible option.... [sigh] I am actually considering bypassing that lift (which will be right out my door) and getting a bus over to Hanazono to start the mornings ...
griller 9
Any plans for anything like that?
seemore 66
Good to place to avoid during busy times as everyone treads on your board. First thing in the morning , lunch time and late afternoons the lift was nearly empty. That chair will hold fond memories for us all. Seemore
