rider69 18
Still look like Saturday night is the go for the first storm. The weather looks to be cooling down the following friday as well. I wouldnt expect much but if the snow is packable you should see an opening sometime next week.
CptSlow 0
So when should we start to worry that maybe the snow is going to be late or not as plentiful as other years? Or is it possible that in December HEAPS could drop and there could well be a few meters by the time we arrive end of Dec?
Tubby Beaver 209
I'm not THAT worried, its still very early for Japan and usually it only takes 1 mega storm and the hills are-a-go. It'll come, of that I have no doubt

Some that start early end up not being that good and some that start late end up being awesome. 04/05 had the warmest November on record and barely had any skiing out to the base of the mountain until mid December but went on to be the biggest snow year in the last decade. Of course it can also start late and not end up all that big. I'm certainly not worried at this stage. We'll just have to wait and see.
muikabochi 208
So Niseko not doing the goods either hey. Still autumn here, beautiful day yesterday again.
foreversnow 5
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Even a bad year in Niseko is considered an EPIC year to NZ skiers and a totally EPIC year Australian skiers. DON'T PANIC IT WILL COME!!!!

CptSlow 0
only 19 sleeps to go and still doesnt look like there us much snow Is it time to get worried or still plenty of time for heaps of meters to drop?
Tex 3
There will be snow in 19 days. Don't worry. All you need is a base (preferably enough to bury all sasa grass.) and then you want it to snow freshies while you are there. Good snow coming in the next few days that should lay a decent base. SKI 15
No need to worry.
Nisoko 6
There'll be trouble in the streets if there isn't decent snow by then! But there will be.
Thundercat 60
Until this year, I've always gone up to Niseko on Dec. 20th and never been disappointed. No need to worry (yet)!
CptSlow 0
sweet always good to get some encouraging words. Is there likely to be snow in the village as well?
