Still look like Saturday night is the go for the first storm.

The weather looks to be cooling down the following friday as well.

I wouldnt expect much but if the snow is packable you should see an opening sometime next week.

So when should we start to worry that maybe the snow is going to be late or not as plentiful as other years?

Or is it possible that in December HEAPS could drop and there could well be a few meters by the time we arrive end of Dec?

Obviously every year is different. Some start early, some later. Some that start early end up not being that good and some that start late end up being awesome. 04/05 had the warmest November on record and barely had any skiing out to the base of the mountain until mid December but went on to be the biggest snow year in the last decade. Of course it can also start late and not end up all that big. I'm certainly not worried at this stage. We'll just have to wait and see.

There will be snow in 19 days. Don't worry.

All you need is a base (preferably enough to bury all sasa grass.) and then you want it to snow freshies while you are there. Good snow coming in the next few days that should lay a decent base. smile

Yeah there sure are. We actually organised a group to go over to Kiroro today as at least they have a few lifts running.
