No that thingy is the wifi router, isn't it? You still need the 0s and 1s to come from somewhere. Unless you can piggyback someone elses wifi account.....

 

Whos wrong me or you? Not 100% sure myself but thats how I see it.

Well, if you use it for 3g all the time, then you won't need broadband. But I suspect there would be a limit on the data you can push with that docomo account, but not sure.

 

If you wanted wifi, you would surely need a connection to supply the data.

Ah she still looks satisfied. And jolly pretty too.

But anyway, this little gizmo is rebranded a bit it seems for NTT East but same specs and the rental will be 315 yen a month for hikari flets customers. So you'd have to use it for 111 months to cover the cost of buying. So I think I'll rent it from them.

 

Not sure if I want to take my ipad out though, it's too pretty and clean. doh
