The first televised debate has come and gone and the opinion polls have Nick Clegg (Lib-Dem) emerging as the winner of that paticular debate.

It was intersting to see that Brown completely ignored Clegg in all his responses and just tried to broadside Cameron, but failed. Cameron spoke of change and what else can you speak of?

But in the end it'll still be Red v Blue and let's see what else will never change.

Good Luck to you.

What can Cleg bring to the table? What can Cameron slate him for? Where can Brown trousers hide? It matters alot for England, Europe, but for the rest of the world? Times are a changing?

Quote:
Prime Minister Gordon Brown today apologised "profusely" after he was caught on microphone branding a woman who spoke to him on the campaign trail "bigoted".

The PM's comments came as he was driven away from an event in Rochdale at which 65-year-old widow Gillian Duffy tackled him in front of the cameras about Britain's financial problems, taxes, student financing and immigration.

Unaware that his radio mike was still connected, Mr Brown told an aide that the encounter had been "a disaster" and said he should never have been made to speak with Mrs Duffy, adding: "She was just a bigoted woman."
