SKI 15
Is the resort of Rusutsu on the other side of that left hand side mountain too or are we seeing it all there? Fantastic photo.
Go Native 70
Ski what you're seeing in the photo is West Mountain of Rusutsu which is mostly a beginner area and where all the accomm is. I've actually never skied over that side. Most of the skiing is on East Mt and Mt Isola which is behind where Mike took the photo. The lovely peak to the right of West Mt is Shiribetsu-dake and is outside of the resort boundary.
SKI 15
Thanks for that Go Native. Naruhodo, thought it looked a bit small\tame.
klingon 10
Daft questions maybe, but is there often clear weather like that in that region?
Go Native 70
Rusutsu gets a lot more clear days than Niseko even though they are not far from each other.
