Why is it important that the DSG does a change in 0.07 secs? It only does this at the expense of additional mechanical components in the drivetrain, unnecessarily adding to the complexity (and the cost in both power losses and maintenance/repair) of the mechanism.
I repeat the question, why is it important to change gears in under a tenth of a second?
