big-will 7
I see the dude is in trouble again (though obviously innocent) Quote: Ex-American football star OJ Simpson has been charged in connection with an alleged armed robbery in Las Vegas. He is accused of taking part in a raid on a sports memorabilia dealer at a hotel room in the Palace Station Casino last Thursday. Eight charges have been filed against Mr Simpson, including kidnapping, conspiracy and robbery. Whats the man like?
Yuki's Passion 1
the man shouldve been brought to the gallows more than a decade ago... I remember the day when he was set free after the circus fiasco - what a joke. Only in America, if youre rich, can you get off so easily. But youre the President getting your sausage smoked, then the GOP will shut down the whole government just to try to impeach you. God bless America

rach 1
From seeing him on the tv this morning, I can say that he apparently likes pies. Apart from that, I don't know much about him. Do the general public believe he was guilty in that case some years back?

Yuki's Passion 1
>Do the general public believe he was guilty in that case some years back? Rach, that case was decided my freshman year Uni, and it was divided (disproportionately) by race. I was in the dorm lounge, along with a couple hundred other students (co-ed dorm) and can still picture everyone screaming and yelling for joy...and it was largely divided by race from what I saw
thursday 1
His bestseller: With O.J. Simpson in jail on charges of robbery and other felonies, the best-selling book about his alleged murder confession is getting a second printing. Beaufort Books has commissioned an additional 50,000 copies of Simpson's "If I Did It," the ghostwritten account of how the ex-football star would have murdered Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. The book, which came out last week and on Tuesday ranked No. 2 on Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.com, now has 200,000 copies in print. In this image from video, O.J. Simpson sits on the Internet TV set at MN1.com with the monitor behind him which says "I did it" showing the cover of his book in Dallas, in this file photo of July 31, 2007. Beaufort Books said it was commissioning a second printing of the best-selling book. (AP Photo/Rich Matthews,File)
thursday 1
Yes CB, it was a big race thing. Johnnie Cochran convinced the jury that race decided the case. Cochrane died in 2005 from a brain tumour but he had never admitted he ever defended a guilty man.

samurai 0
Actually, he was found guilty in the civil trial and was given a 30.5 million dollar fine payable to the Goldman's children. It is estimated that the money he owes the goldman's for the deaths is closer to 60 mil. He moved to Florida where laws protect his assets. I've never heard anyone ever say anything positive about the guy.
