soubriquet 0
Very cold overnight, with about 10cm of snow. Last night's forecast showed little snowmen for the next 7 days. Why men? Why not dancing snowgirls, in bikinis and boots?
muikabochi 208
We had rain again this morning. No snow. Looks like it will be another fairly mild day here.

SnowJapan Admin SnowJapan#Andrew 6 Posted January 9, 2008 SnowJapan Admin Share Posted January 9, 2008 Is there much snow there yet soubs? We are still a bit short here.
soubriquet 0
About 30cm undisturbed in the rice fields. Less than last year. Not having to dig 3 cars out of snowdrifts is happy time.
SnowJapan Admin SnowJapan#Andrew 6 Posted January 9, 2008 SnowJapan Admin Share Posted January 9, 2008 Less than last year? That would be disaster for us. Here we are better than last year I suppose but not that much right at the moment.
soubriquet 0
Definitely less snow than last year.
soubriquet 0
Stoked. Our garage is going in. I thought it was going to be a steel shell. It's timber, and going to be double skinned and insulated. 5 x 40cm roof beams are going to support a lot of snow. I also get to have a 200V power outlet. That means I can use all my 240V tools. soubriquet 0
The builders are leaving for the night. All four of them have bought cake. They are under strict instructions from the missus... "If you go to that Pandora place...."
soubriquet 0
Powder snow tonight. The polar front has moved across Yamagata, and tomorrow I'm going to be rocking. Enjoy Tokyo, I like Tohoku.
soubriquet 0
Chucking with powder tonight. 6am start, and I'm going to be into the powder before your train gets to the station (assuming she's on for it).
soubriquet 0
3:30, and the snow-plough is going through. Soubriquette is at a trade fair in Yamaguchi. Dang, I miss that girl. Especially in the night.
