sammy tours have good deals. this is info for return bus tix from osaka to nozawa with lift tix included for 1-3 days. they also have buses going to heaps of other resorts too in nagano and gifu. good luck with the japanese.

Wish I went there too! I ended up not going anywhere. Tateyama was looking to be the most expensive onsen ever so the plan was ditched at the last minute and no plan B Next time...

they ummed and aahhed a little but we're still going. they called someone up there and they said there were people on the slopes today, forecast is for snow now so it must be whiteout, sounds crazy. can't really tell without actually going there how it will be but we'll err on the safe side. snowforecast.com forecasts look like the weather will improve so fingers crossed. tateyama doesnt seem the safest place at the best of times anyway.

i can read it slowly. 3 j guys, they go each year, i'm interested to see what they say tomorrow. i thought it was warming up a little over the w/end with no snowfall. but that was probably a nearby town not the mountain forecast. thanks for the tip

do you guys clean the base much in a season. For example getting the wax remover out and putting a fresh coat on. Or do you just keep reapplying a top coat?
