  3. Hi All. I would like to know how many people here use yahoo, or mac Widgets. If you don't know what widgets are, then you are missing out on some very cool stuff. Ok, not that cool, but it will make you king (or queen) nerd around your workplace. Ok, they will think you're a complete dork, but don't take my word for how cool they are, check em out: http://widgets.yahoo.com/ Any thoughts are appreciated, I have a few ideas brewing, and want to get some feedback on what types of widgets people find useful. Cheers

  12. Good thread. Hey James, I am doing exactly what you are, going to hakuba on the 13th Feb. I live in Perth WA, we have NEVER seen snow in thgis state lol, but I bought my gear instead of renting. All up, my gear has cost $450, thats board, boots, gloves, pants, goggles etc. Pain maybe to transport, but well worth it, as I get to keep it. hey Stemik, Is "kuro neko " a good way to go?. I fly in to Osaka on the 12th feb at 8pm, then, I plan to head up to Hakuba the next mornign as early as possible. If I get this wheeled bag, it should be easy.. I hear I have to change trai

  14. Really thursday?, it is awesome for photologging & trails information. hey Stemik, of course mate, although I have gone to the dark Side. I want to buy my Storm Trooper outfit when I go to Canada (A few guys in the states sell awesome gear). geez, I really am alienating myself here aren't I? dammit =)
  15. But of course! it is a great way to take some snaps, and see exactly where you took them on google maps. You could also add it to your website, say if you run a Hotel (ahem cough cough FT =) You could have a map, and show the location & an image gallery of the local pubs, the Ski lifts etc. geek by name, geek by nature =) I own a "lightsaber", what else would you expect heh heh
  16. Well, since no-one replied, i thought I would post up some finding, in case anyone esle thought of doing the same. You can get a nice GPS unit, which tracks your location, by aligning with Global Positioning. Sont has some nice software which allows you to upload your photos (with timestamp) to your computer, and do the same with your GPS unit. this then "aligns" the two, and allows you to create a google map, with a "hotspot" where you can click the image & view the photo, as well as see the "path" you took. I am considering getting a Garmin tracker, as it shows you were yo
  17. hey Spook, Just Google "Well fancy Japan Accommodation for Novice Snowboarders who Sue people". Should get a few results =) You are dead right tho, there are stacks of tour ops, many run from over east I have found. I was going to go on one of these until I saw that It would cost me $1500 just for them to organize, so figured I'd join this forum, meet some poeople & do it myself. make sure he joins up here, will help his experience heaps.. I think it was already "inmferred" that o=money is not an issue. he's a lawyer =) And yeah, if I were him, i'd go on a package t
  18. Man, I got ripped off. I paid $50 for what I thought was a nice Cabernet Sauvignon. Got it home, and realized it was out of date. It was 2005. Man I was furious. Still drank it though. heh heh

  21. lol. Actually, you know how "spiders" index & search web pages, do you think the FBI have created "spiders" to search & scan websites with photo recognition software to look for criminals? Suddently, I am becming paranoid. Not that I have done wrong, but that technology is getting so advanced, information is becoming dangerous. And to comment on Fattwins statement of fingerprints still being on paper, thats crazy!, you think why would they bother then? Very strange.
  22. wow, i didn't realize these were so popular. So nudity is a common thing? That link to hotel-fatuba, TsondaBoy, is amazing. Looks superb.
