I really couldn't understand exactly where the term originated from. One issue I have, is that if the term is used in a social comment, then that comment assumes the person it is directed to believes in the modern understanding that there is "good & evil". For instance: A judge condemns a criminal in court because his actiosn were "evil". yeah, I wish it would =) I'll start saving up for a year pass. Honeslty, they will make a fortune if they build it.. I can board (just haven't for 8 years). I am exact same size/weight as you c_mo, and I am a size 9 Boot. I bought a 156cm board. Depends also on your level of noobiness,you can get a Freestyle, Freeride (All Mountain), or Alpine (Carving) Board. I would recommend a "freeride" board, as it will give you everything you need, and be a little more forgiving. Freestyle is great if you wanna hits parks, and Alpine if you are an insane speed freak.
