I have never been up there and might just stay enjoying the view looking up. Wouldn't mind getting a close-up arial view mind. -
What did the staff do on all those days this season that Gala didn't open due to (existant or non-existant) winds? There must have been quite a number of those, I remember a fair few myself from the now reports.

I didn't spend much this season mainly because I only went on 2 long weekends - one in Hakuba and the other 5 day weekend in Niseko. Timed both perfectly though in terms of snow.

If you are going from Hakuba on the normal routes (>Nagano >Nozawa >Tsunan >) it is probably 45-60 minutes further on than if you were going over to Yuzawa. -
How was the snow over there in March Mantas? Whistler is on my "must go in the next 2 years" list.

It's been over a month since I was last on the snow (at Kagura). Seems like half a year ago.

I used to do a lot of JR Ski Ski'ing when I first came here, then branched out a bit more to other places.
