wow! what a thread. anyhow hi back to ger and thursday (who ive actually met irl). back to the topic im not into swapping anything but as i mentioned my very first hokkaido trip might take place this july if i can take days off. not much planning yet but ze motorcycle diary for about a week, ferry from oharai to tomakomai and then head to either wakkanai or shiretoko. cannot decide. shiretoko hanto winding road looks good and also from wakkanai taking heartland ferry to ze island and hiking sounds good too. any reccomendation ill appreciate.

for those who collect stamps, this will be out soon. ive lost catcher in the rye twice. second time i remember how i lost it, i got on shinkansen and i realized i left it in a hotel room in yokohama i called the hotel and told the room number and also the fact i left it right next to ze bible. for some reason they couldnt find it tho. why i wondered. i dont trust my forgetfulness so i dont attempt to buy some pricy umbrella nor books since i carry it around but that book of yours looks fancy.

アンダーグラウンド Underground by Haruki Murakami i read his norwegian woods in japanese when i was in high school. i found it in my sister's room. since then i happened to read all of his books in not japanese but english. this time it is a japanese book. it has been such a long time to read his book in japanese and i can't stop reading. started last night and on ze way back home tonight for about 90 mins of my train ride, 777 pages will be finished. doesn't mean the translation was bad but it is just original is better.

hmm but alcohol and bread don't go well together ne..

how about homemade bread? only one time that i was @ mon pigeon out of many visits. perhaps i visit there at the wrong time of the day or something.. but still good bread might be a great way to get more people coming to your place. ill be there if u have good bread. hense my recomendation => good bread ^ o ^ /

went so fast this winter, and i skied only twice. ze time management technique of mine is pretty bad and seems like itll be april before accomplishing anything much. lame o _ o; aim higher for ze summer i say.

i use "thomson reuters" a lot on ze train, its got video, exchange rates, etc. pictures are good too. and there is "star wars the force unleashed". u can customise ur own lightsaber.

born and raised in nippon but havent been to hokkaido yet. maybe next summer for a motorcycle diary. i heard lots of good things about hokkaido so it is on my list but not this winter sadly. for me its very convenient to drive up to hakuba during winter. on friday after work pack and go ski sat and sun. lots of good onsens and tempura soba attract me to. im not a great snowboarder so the quality of snow and the steepness etc.. are not so big of a deal if you ask me im happy as long as i have fun on snow with otomodachi. i like the view of happo. went hiking last month and here is ze photo.

an uncomfortable accommodation puts me off.
