  1. There's no such thing as a one-woman man these days. The question is whether the timeline is verticle instead of horizontal.
  2. Wombat $hit does contain a lot of folates. Wouldn't surprise me.

  4. Hey everybody, its joke time. . . What's long, brown, and sticky?
  5. Oops, I Thought I had stumbled into the grumper thread and thought "up the duff" meant something else. The joke would probably get some funny answers there. I'll repost it.
  6. Hey, what's long, brown, and sticky?
  7. Mine too. For some reason sono ta no zasshu ("the third beer") doesn't do me in nearly as bad as happoshu.
  8. "In addition to a different - and arguably less appealing - flavor, inbibing low-malt, high-adjunct beers in equal quantity is more likely to produce a hangover. One can assume that this is due to increased levels of fusel alcohol produced during the fermentation process for reduced-malt products" -quote from BP's link Gotta love wikipedia. Knowledge IS power.
  9. and shhhh. . . Nobody tell EBC that whether they slice it into five 2cm thick slices or ten 1cm thick slices its still the same loaf of crap.
  10. FT Why paint it? That's the best color met I've seen in a while. Sauve, yet sophistimacated.

And on 35 degree ice holds it own like nothing I ever ridden.Only downside is, I can never ride a straight edged board again. Was thinking to get a mullet 165 for the powderdays or get a Dark series and keep the trice for freeriding. mIght get an
  13. Do we really not have anything better to talk about than the friggin weather?
  14. Lotta difference it makes. In twenty some odd years of living there, I never saw a single jar of the muck. It was probably the marmite lobby's huge influence on the american political system.
  15. "Only in America can a man like that even find work." Right back at you George W.
  16. That picture is a lovely tribute to her, soub.
  17. I started typing them out, but I can only remember the names of about half of them. Have got most of Tohoku notched on my bedpost, perhaps around 30. Add to that mountains that don't have ski areas and. . . who knows. SJ1, I'm guessing more than a few of those 102 were "work" related. Ii na~. Kumapix, are there really resorts called Whistler and Hunter Mt. in Japan?
  18. Black on the bottom, and orange&white on top same as last year. . . and the year before that. . . and the year before that. . . and the year before that. . . I've finally gotten dialed in--one setup for all weather & conditions. No need to change a perfect thing. Well, except for the holes, that is.
  19. Stupid fact: Abundant nose hair is only half genetic. If you live in a place with low air quality (smoke, dust, mildew, mold, smog, etc) your nose tries to compensate by making a jungle of air-purifying tentacles. Some of those are easier to fix than others, but give cleaning the air a try.
  20. Become swingers, invite the co-worker and spud over for an orgy and see what happens. Who knows, you could even end up with spud if you're that fickle.
  21. The ward we live in pays 80% of childrens' medical bills through the start of Junior High as an incentive for its residents to have babies. Didn't influence our decision, but it sure will be nice if we decide not to move. I'm dying to move back to Yokohama, though. The wife and I Just got back from our 5 mo ultrasound. Still a little too small to tell what sex. But the little bugger was picking his/her nose half the time we were looking. Ah yes, dad's blood flow strong in those little veins. MJ, What is raspberry leaf tea supposed to do?
  22. That's pretty cool Soub, but I just wasted 15 mins watching that damn thing.
  23. Good luck to you too Davo and wife. Quote: Originally posted by sunrise: Lotsa babies coming at the moment, eh! Yeah, the SJ community seems to be doing its part to fight the declining birth rate in Japan! I'm curious. How many of these newbies are going to remain in Japan? For how long? Ours will likely be here for a while.
