  1. Serious? I can't believe they dress them in such fugly outfits... it looks like a psychadelic sailor suit!
  2. I heard Rose Byrne is in the running to be the next Bond girl. I reckon she'd be good.
  3. Echineko, if that's you, you're cute, but what the hell are you wearing in that photo?
  4. Starbucks is revolting! Best coffee is Merlo.
  5. But he's also meant to be sexy, right?
  6. That's cool Davo, it was more interesting than my little problem anyway
  7. If you get spammed as frequently as I do, you'll enjoy reading this site - it's a laugh. The Nigerian spam one is the funniest. www.thespamletters.com
  8. Could be an attempt to find 'active' accounts - that is, if a person replies to the spam mail, their email address is added to a list that the spammer then 'on-sells' to other spammers.
  9. The laws do tend to lean in favour of the mother, which is quite unfortunate in some cases, especially the ones described here. The thing is, unlike you guys, there are a lot of deadbeat dads out there. A woman I work with has a two-year-old daughter with her now ex-boyfriend. He refused to pay child support for almost a year, and only does so now because family services intervened and took him to court for failing to pay up. Apparently he called her up a few weeks ago and gloated about the fact that he'd gotten his new girlfriend pregnant. When she asked him why he was so happy a
  10. Nope. He doesn't do it for me either!
  11. He's not sexy. But then, I don't find any of the previous Bonds sexy either.
  12. Merrells are good but can be pricey. www.merrell.com
  13. I'm listening to the latest Kanye West album at the moment - I didn't think I'd like it but I am really, really enjoying it. My favourite song is "Heard em Say".
  14. Sounds like a waste of money to me. I'd be happier if my bank simply stopped charging me ridiculous fees for every little thing.
  15. Some contraceptive pills can make your boobs bigger, but that's not really 'natural' either I guess.
  16. Quote: Originally posted by sunrise: I remember when I was a kid and there was a woman who had gotten implants staying near our holiday house where we went water skiing. It just didn't look natural when she was lying down sunbathing and her boobs were totally defying gravity like a barbie doll. Ugh! Natural is best. Exactly! You can always pick the girls with implants on the beach. Indonsm, I really hope my boobs don't sag after I have kids. It seems unfair that we women have to go through pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and then wind up with saggy boobs! Life is cruel.
  17. That made me laugh, even though it's not really funny! Well I guess that puts a serious dent in my theory!
  18. 011: That's cool (re your wind farm)! Out of curiosity, have you been to the site? SubZero: I'm not suggesting that nuclear energy is completely safe. It's not. I do believe safety measures are more stringent in nuclear power plants though, than say, a coal fire power plant. It's kinda like comparing planes with cars. Planes get serviced and safety tested more frequently than cars because if a plane crashes it's going to kill a lot more people than a single car crash. P.S. Are you telling me there ISN'T an Easter Bunny?!
  19. CB: Same. I think it's important to still be social/maintain friendships even when you're in a relationship. Echineko, no I'm in Australia.
  20. Quote: Originally posted by Bushpig: It might not be considered a major accident Nicole, but if my memory serves me correctly, then in amongst the number of nuclear facility accidents that have happened in Japan since I have been here, there was one about 2 or 3 years back where a guy who was exposed died. I can't remember if a second woker did too, or just got very sick. It happens, but maybe it doesn't make the news worldwide unless it is a large scale accident with many deaths at once. That's sad. You're right though - unless there's a huge catastrophe, we don't hear about the deaths th
  21. You can't just stick them in suburbia you know. They've gotta be out in the middle of nowhere because no one wants to live near them. Surveys have shown that in theory, most people support wind farms, but when it comes to having one in their backyard, they don't like them so much. 22. I'm really enjoying this conversation by the way
