One of the first steps to becoming an Oyaji is the realization that you are not invincible. Good old Fungi Pizza is my fav. Cheese / Tomato / Mushrooms and fresh pepper. Mind you, that Tandoori Chicken Pizza the other day at Gravity Works was pretty good too (eh Gams)

You may want to try having a humidifyer (sp - Kashituki) in your room when you sleep. I used to wake up with a sore throat all the time, but we got one to help one of our kids who gets Krupe. Since we've been using them I haven't had a problem at all (and been getting way less colds).

If anyone is coming to Hakuba then head to the Bakery at A-Coop. The long french bread there is great (best I've had in Japan, even my folks from NZ thought it was something special). Only get the fresh baked stuff, not the commerical loaves on the side.
