  2. I have a couple of mates living in New Orleans, pretty amazing place from what they have said and shown me. I saw a satellite image that is scary to say the least. I hope they are OK!! Ocean, I believe it's caused by the evil terrorists and their weather controlling machine!
  3. I heard it was trash, the reviews were less than flattering. Seems to be common for recent remakes!

Quote: When the music stops, iPod owners sing a different tune By Hannah Edwards August 28, 2005 The Sun-Herald It has become a must-have accessory for thousands of Australians, but all is not well for Apple's iPod. The Australian Consumers Association (ACA) is getting an increasing number of complaints from owners of the portable music players, with problems ranging from cracked screens to poor sound

  12. They had the new Niseko Harmony owner/manager on a local TV show here recently. He was discussing plans for the resort etc. He had some valid points, one was talking about injecting new life into the snow industry which has been in a steady decline over the last 15 years here in Japan. He also discussed the aging industry and unchanged resorts (circa 1970s) that exist and how people want more from their snow experiance than curry rice and an aging lift system. Everyone might complain about Niseko/Aussies and overcrowding but this may lead to an improvement in what is now available plus it is

  16. Thanks Indo, After the auctions have finished, paid, posted and recieved my customers have left me feedback. I have written replies to this feedback which I can see on my computer, it all looks normal at my end but one of these people contacted me and said I haven't left feedback. I have done so but they are unable to view it in their feedback list. I checked and I can't see my user name in their evalution/feedback list! I hope this makes sense! Cheers SB
  17. You need to set up a Yahoo Account ( monthly fee is about ¥250) , as long as you are "fluent" in Japanese it should be no problem. If not get a friend to help, I am always bugging my wife to help, she loves it (add sarcasm here). You need a Japanese credit card as well. I found this site to be reasonably helpful with the basics and it is in English. Yahoo explained in English, kind of!!
  18. Is anyone here familiar with Yahoo Auctions, I recently started selling/buying and have left feedback for the people I have dealt with but it does display in their feedback list! Any hints! I have searched the help columns but can't seem to see anything related! Thanks in advance SB

  21. Just spotted this story and started to panic, my vision seems fine- but for how long. I guess it could be related to the saying "stop it or you'll go blind" Quote: Erotic images linked to blindness August 18, 2005 - 6:49AM Researchers have proved what mothers have been telling their sons all along - erotic images can make you go blind. A new study by US psychologists found people shown erotic or gory images could not process what they were seeing immediately afterwards. Researchers believe emotion-induced blindness could mean drivers simply do
