Anyone heard how they're organising this? They say they are broadcasting it all live on Fuji, but won't some of the concerts be happening at the same time? Any details on how and what they plan to broadcast it?

REM - Up Definitely veronica. I gave it another try since reading this and realised what a good sounding album it is.

I've been listening to a lot of REM recently. I never gave the recent ones much of a listen but have been this last week. The last tracks on Up are very melancholy, Diminished, At My Most Beautiful are great songs. (Thanks veronica for pointing out them being undervaled)

Do we have any Welsh people on here? I have a friend who lives on the west coast of Wales (Aberystwyth or something) and she's invited me to visit this summer. I was planning on being in England for a while but know little about Wales. I don't really have much of an image of it either Though there are lots of sheep, right? Just wondering...

What sofuto do you use to make those lovely pdf files. there seems to be the full expensive adobe thing that costs a few man, then something called adobe pdf elements for about 5000 yen. just wondering if that cheaper one is ok, or if there are in fact other applications out there. cheers

Well it's been fairly expensive for me I reckon. Some new gear a week holiday, quite a few weekens. Probably over 200000

I'm going to take a trip up to Hakuba this weekend which will probably be my last for the season.

The only test I needed to take was an eye test. But my licence is a UK one, I don't know if the rules would be different for US.

I went, with some of my own food as well they let me in no problems. Anyway, it was fairly interesting but as with many of these kind of things I wasn't madly excited about it - and a bit too busy for my liking it might be better to wait a bit until the crowds have died down a bit.
