My precious....
gammaman replied to MistaSparkle's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
Hey Mr, how much you get it for? Wanna buy a helmet too, cos I`ve had a few skull shakers and methinks "better safe than sorry". (ooo! Will that start a fight?!) -
what's everybody listening to now?
gammaman replied to Dokumanju's topic in General off-topic discussions
Like Muse? Check out the soulwax remix of Muscle Museum. Don`t usually go for remixes, but this rocks. -
What about peanuts? They is crazy.
-
Never mind Meron. Hopefully this is the start of the real Liverpool.

5am in the morning, I`m reliably informed. Did anyone see any reaction from Souness after Blackburn cheated past the geordies? Kewell dived, shuddnt`ve. But then two very viable penalty claims had been ignored earlier.

Best food on the mountain

Easily the mexican sando at Ryuo. From the place with the bell on the right of lift 8. It had a sausage in it too. -
Have yer SEEN the draw!?! Man u get Rotherham or Northhampton and there we are facing the geordies. Dammit. And don`t you find the commentator they have on just the most annoying, boring, repetitive ejit? I have to turn the sound off.

Italian solution...?
gammaman replied to gammaman's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
I thought it was a `red bull` db, ya know, with wings. I ride goofy and my mate regular. Last time we were out we swapped boards. Now I`m relatively good fakie, having forced myself to do it from the start, but when it came to walking to the lift..... shhess, we were falling about all over the place like drunken monkeys, and not impressing many people on the way. Practice walking (with board attached) first, is my tip. -
Italian solution...?

My guess TeleSkier is that O11 had his tongue well inside his rosy cheek. My theory is that it`s the trend for more and more recklessness and risk taking on the slopes that are driving the increase, be it for adrenaline rushes or showing off. People are constantly trying to push themselves and their sport to be more extreme, skiers and boarders alike. Both sets of people are to blame, both should take responsibility. I`ve been hit by boarders and skiers alike (waiting in a line on each occaision) , but can be proud to say that I have never hit anybody (unlikely as that seems), so it is -

Din`t give details, guess it must have been something to do with a collision between a boarder and skier. -

They think it will stop people crashing into each other. -
Has to be one of the best things about Japan (I know it`s Korean, just never bin there yet). I adore Gyu Kaku. The English menu cracks me up very time.

Christmas dinner - turkey or beef?
gammaman replied to akibun's topic in General off-topic discussions
Big-will, to answer your question. Yes. All swans are owned by her majesty, and proctected as thus. Don`t think it actuallly amounts to much in real life though cos all the stupid fishermen keep posioning them with lead weights, and no-one puts them in stocks for it. O11, what about goose? Ex-girlfriends family always had goose, which I was really looking forward to trying, until the year I went they decided on a change and had turkey. Bummed. Do people have stuffing with goose? -

Will be leaving on the eve of 14th Jan and on the slopes on the 15th and 16th at Hakuba 47 and Goyru. Wanna go to Hapo-one but wannna give it more than two days cos it`s so big, thats why I`m goin where I am. Lookin at your dates, it looks like you have enough time to try them all and decide which you like best. Wish I had that luxury -

Managed to book book the holiday today, coomoon!!!!! Required a fair amount of sign language and smiling stupidly. Did it in the end though -
Sorry, thought you might know that the mighty Liverpool beat Bolton 3-1 last night. Like the snow, we`re gonna come good from now on in. I hope....
-
There are only ones that beat Bolton. I`m unaware of any other reds of significance! Unfortunatly, like the snow, we are sadly underachieving this season, so far. I`m banking on both taking a turn for the better from now on.
-
Not as good as the Chelsea game (I turned over). The more I see of Malbranque (sp?) the more I am convinced the Reds should buy him. I`m told he is only 23, would definitly liven us up a bit.

That`s Japanese mentality gettin to ya, one season old, must be crap. Have you tried them on? Walked about in them? Does it feel like they`re gonna hurt? Sounds like a bit of a bummer to me. -
Watching the Fulham Vs S`ton game. Just noticed all the H.I.S. advertising boardings behind the goal. Fancy that All Inamotos fault.

Shinjuku to Hakuba Bus
gammaman replied to gordonkwan's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
It`s most definitly a travel agents tour. I don`t have the capablilty to arrange such a thing on my own. The phone numbers are for the agent I think. -
Spain is a nice place to live.

Can you speak japanese? I don`t really, so have to rely on friends or lots of sign language. There are only phone numbers as contact on the brochure. It looks like this tour is run by Alpico group whoever they are, and offered through Tokyu Corp travel agents. I just picked up a brochure at Yokohama station. It says `Power up` ski and snowboard on the cover. Looking at your dates though, you have a long time to explore, so maybe a tour isn`t ideal for you. However here are the numbers, but I`m afraid I can`t say which one is for which stations travel agent but these are for Tokyo becau
