We will have rental Kei, rental (plastic BIC) surfboards and hotel (oh no!). we can't bring boards on the plane from Kagoshima we already have maps of all the surf spots. Maybe some SJ'er know of a good uncrowded spot?

My wife and i are going for a 3 days trip to Tanegashima next week. hopefully we will spend most of our time in the water. I was wondering if anyone has been there? any advice on surf spots, sights and restaurants would be appreciated.

I'm not at tuning specialist. one of the best things i have done for my snowboarding was tuning my base edge 1 degree, makes boarding over flat sections easy.

hmm the issue of food was brought up because of the ice age that may or may nor occur. With an ice age, all the money in the world cannot buy food for the entire population, there will not be enough to go around.
