Well persoanally I enjoy a challenge, stimulating conversation, fine wine, food, a dance etc etc and a woman who really wants to shag me! Nice contsructive comment there MothaChucka, did you think of that one all by yourself?

the difference between what your suggesting fellas is that it takes F7CK all personality to throw money at some girl who'll hitch up her skirt and give you a ride, while wining dining etc, you gotta use your skills

Germaine Greer....ahem. I remember piping-up in the middle of one of my 'Issues in Gender Representation' lectures in Uni once, the look I received made me guffaw and mumble the point i was so keen on making through a laugh, the tutts of all the hypo-fems was audiable three miles away. You might actually be right Ocean, I've been conditioned by the femo's!!

Your damn right. Never paid for sex, never will. It's a truly sad individual who has to hand over cash for tash! " title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" />

Miteyak, alcohol etc your point is valid. bUt maybe in Pakistan religion has a bit of an influence? Jared, yes porn is part of the sex trade.... Ocean left wing moaist softy whoofters rule! Take a look at recent attempts to 'regulate' prostitution in the Netherlands......go the dutch. I don't believe the sex trade should be stopped or banned, though not all people who work and take part in it have such a balanced view as those represented here........it is exploitation so is porn etc. It's fine by me, as long as there are women willing to do it. Most women aren't. We

Quote: What is the necessary connection between selling sex, and rape and battery? I don't see it... To put it simply, there are certain members of our gender who fail to recoginise where a woman stops being a purchasable object (Soapland et al) and acutally IS a human being. The sex indusrty de-humanizes women....and thus rape and battery are its bi-products.

:Miteyak Quote: And why should they? Peel back the superficial veneer of sexism in Japan and you:ll find a nation of men who work long hours, and hand their money over to their women.[/ Where do I need to start??? So your condoning the fact that because women are conditioned to the point that they believe MEN are: a) the only way that they can "get" a decent amount of money are the only ones worthy of such sums!??? c) have no option and are seen as socially unacceptable if they stop accepting their handouts.. d) can't break through that glass ceiling.... You are of course right to an extent Ocean, but how do you know I haven't been selling my arse for the last couple of years to rich gay business men On a more serious note, and at the risk of making a rather harsh generlaisation, I shouldn't think the girls who work in Soapland are fully aware of the most basic definition of womens lib....yes they earn money, but they are systematically degrading women to the point of purchasable obejects, helping encourage the already inbalanced view of gender in Japan.

Think most have no Gaijin policy, but I think the whole episode of soapland is sad and degrading and highlights how far Japan has moved in terms of womens lib....about this far >>>>>

Ocean emphasis on the 'hollow' Maybe the architects could turn the statues heads into a bird sanctuary.

There is a fair portion of phalic symbolism going on with the tallest building thing. I'd suggest a memorial garden to act as rememberance to that tragedy, I understand where the land is, but surely the new buildings, though I hate to say it, will become a new terrorist target? Or am I just being unreasonable.

Kobet, if Arnie had just killed the bloke who was sent back (to protect Sarah Connor) with him in Terminator 1, when they were both in the future, he wouldn't have had to kill anyone else cos he was John Connors father..... But then again if Rambo wasn't busy in Afganistan he and Predator could've joined forces, after Preadator had been given lessons in how to be good, and killed Terminator, abley assisted by Alien and Danny Devito

Who are the girls? They look like Siamese twins. Co-joined by a Louis Vitton bag......

I was a house cleaner/ waiter in France for 5 months, got 1 day off a week!! But usually ended up visiting other resorts on those days, Chamonix etc. The best thing was that I got 5 hours a day to got baording.....hard work, little sleep and a lot of drinking involved, but i loved every minute! There ain't no reason you can't do it in Europe. My manager was an Aussie, so were a few chefs....dead easy to get a job if you can cook. In fact I've been looking into doing the same in Aus, but ain't got a clue which resort is best. -
