  1. Ray, I think you were missed around here. I did check my personals. You're authentic BI....my apologies. Sincerely. I hope your doc visit went well! A hui ho!
  2. yakitori is chicken. Do they have yakiniku "yakitori" too?
  3. My wife and I were at a NY pizza shop..the 100th floor of the World Trade Center 27 days b/f 9/11. I can visualize the faces of those who took our order. I hope they are alive!
  4. BTW...in private life my nickname is Pizzataro! I'm not quite as obsessive as Cheeseman but I do love pizza Personally, corn or tuna on a pizza is down right nasty.
  5. Very important topic! Yes! they are getting better. The best pizzaria I've ever been to..anywhere.. exists just 5 minutes from my house. I've also been to a good place in Tokyo, Ginza. Sorry, I can't remember the name but it was in the "B1" basement off a side street.
  6. I have several pets and I often think "what would my pet think of this human endeavor"..... Snowboarding. Sliding down a mountain on a board. Smoking: Only a human would.... music: you guyz got something good going on there! War: pathetic! If animals could communicate and tell us their opinions of us humans...what would they say?
  7. Virtuous!! If you've got an agreed upon time to meet/be somewhere...be there! Being late is sometimes unavoidable (for whatever reasons) but when possible be on time! "casually late" is not cool
  8. Mogski, shiranakata yo! Zannen We don't have a Wendy's either. I don't like McD's so I guess I gotta eat good food. Kana
  9. I've been to many many weddings in Japan. It's interesting to me that when one of the bride or groom's parents is deceased they will be represented by a large photograph. It doesn't stop there. When the couple or the bride and father (or whoever) walk down the virgin lane the photo will be held and pointed in the direction as if it can SEE! Once the ceremony starts the photo will then 'sit' in the front row seat in place of the person who has passed away.
  10. O11, I bought a 164 Burton. Also got some US size 11 DC boots and some wearing gear. The hard part is finding people that ship internationally. I'm 185cm/90kilo's. Although I still can't walk yet from my snowboarding induced broken leg, I'm looking for a "tanker" something bigger to ride in pow. If you see anything let me know! Onegaishimasu
  11. Check TOKYO INTERIOR. Beware, they are pricey.
  12. I've found some good snowboard stuff on Ebay. Especially if your big and can't find your size in Japan. BTW.. the company is doing well...I wish I bought the stock a few years ago! Yahoo Japan auctions are good too. If you can read Japanese, it may be easier to use than Ebay. You usually don't need Paypall, etc.
  13. Haven't had Mc'D's but tofu burgers are good and relatively nutricious. If your gonna fast food...Burger King is my pick. Non in Sendai though " title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" />
  14. On translated Japanese literature: Kenji Miyazawa's "Night of the Milky Way Railway" was entertaining. For a non-drug user Miyazawa's imagination is trippy.
  15. Without a doubt. I used to work in a law firm and wrote elegant pleadings to impress the court.. Now...wakaaaanai!
  16. There was an auctioneer in my home town who advertised extensively. His name was Dick Long. Of course, in the phone book he was "Long Dick." Word has it kids loved to prank call his house.
  17. NO, "meet." Have a beer/coffee. Talk. Wrong idea Jared..hence the little smily guy waving! Just if my aspired kid or wife, not myself...is an issue I'd preffer to take it off this forum and should one want to, talk about it in person. Comprende amigo?
  18. Ocean, why do you use the language "POOR, DIMINISHED VIRTUAL CHILD" when referring to the child my wife and I aspire to have? Poor meaning what? Unfortunate, destitute, mediocre? You don't know me punk! Diminished? Brah, this forum is for entertaiment. But you did't see anyone stoop to bashing Hinata personally. IF you've got issues w/ me, send a personal and we can meet. And let me venture to guess that I'm not the first to assume your a bit (or a lot) pretentious.
  19. That's been my point. Names aren't lame. They are names. I'm the one that brought up Hana on this thread..honestly not even knowing it's a popular "half Kid" name. In Hawaii it's a semi-popular name that my wife and I liked and that's why I mentioned it. I don't know why you hate the Kens of the world....who know's...maybe on an old/different thread there's a group that don't like Hinata's. I think they are lame too!
  20. Hinata? You've mustered out the male equivelant of Yoko! Original! "I don't call any name in itself lame....except ken and hana..they're cliche....blah blah blah." - Ocean. It might be a sentimental/extremely personal issue for some what to name a child. It could be damn right very personal what you call your own kid. How do you feel about.."I think Hinata is a stupid ass name. Sell out. Didn't take much thought to come up with that name.....? Anyboy living under the sun could be a Hinata..."...You see, names are personal and not just as you say "cliched, unimaginative..a default s
  21. Badmigraine, funny!! I see why you're a five star I took a check from a guy at my parents bar by the (AND I'm NOT kidding.!!)..name: Finger Inger. His parents were sadistic or funny folks.
  22. PS...Ocean-chan, How is any name "lame"? Are you the authority on names? A name is a name, pal. It ain't good or bad...it's a name.
