  1. I made Kurigohan last night again!
  2. Those days are expensive term. Usually it's getting cheaper after 4th of January. I always go to Hokkaido on weekdays and use JAL ski or ANA ski. The cheapest price is around ¥28000 for 3days with air, hotel, ski lift, (sometimes meals, too!). That's good deal! The 5days trip maybe around ¥55000. But you have to be very careful. They have 2kinds of brochure and you have to find cheaper one. I haven't seen those brochure this year yet.
  3. I always shampoo after swimming. No problem at the Shibuya sports center. You can claim and tell people "I have atopic dry skin, so I have to use soap!" My friend told me, she can't go to gym nor swimming pool because of her tattoos. But there many tattoo girls at my swimming pool, and they are not cute in swim suit. Is swimming good fitness training for skiing?
  4. My company has a new project to build an apartment in Setagaya. This project is land-space exchange system and there is a big old house which the owner family lives and beautiful garden in the site. We are going to break down everything there and build brand new apartment. We think it's ridiculous, too. But the owner can't do anything. Their grand father made a fortune but his offspring couldn't keep it. This is the reality. If you were born in a rich family, you have to work so hard and make more fortune to defend your property. I think my company is stupid, too.
  5. New mobile phone with FM radio go on sale in this year. That's great invention, isn't that? I don't need mail, camera, color screen, butttttt radio is great! I'm not a frequent mobile changer, but I'd like to have one just in case of big temblor.
  6. It is Kinmokusei, isn't it? (I don't know the difference between Ginmokusei and Kinmokusei...) Already blossom there? I can't smell it here in Tokyo yet. Quote: to celebrate the coming of autumn Let's celebrate the getting closer to winter!?
  7. Thanks, sachiko! I didn't know how to reply to it.
  8. Anyway, if you are fit and strong, very attractive for me.
  9. I recently enjoy rice a lot! We (5girls from my office) had autumn food party the other night. Sanma, Yakinasu, Kuri Gohan, Nameko no Misoshiru! Kuri Gohan is my favorite, so I can enjoy peeling chetnuts very patiently! It's hard work, though. Enjoy autumn food, everybody!
  10. I love carving feeling! Extreme Carving = Extreme Feeling??
  11. Thanks for the advice, I may go there in November from NY. So it'll be only 2 nights stay. This time not for snow. I have a friend there and hope to visit him as often as possible in snow season.
  12. Couple of times every season isn't enough to enjoy it. I always have my ski package in my room (even in summer!) and ready to go to mountain anytime. And you need pal keen on skiing or boarding. They will make you easy. Quote: Any people drive up from Tokyo that have a spare seat sometimes? I wish I had a car, I want to have pal, too.
  13. This looks helpful for you. vietnam tourism The Coast cities in Vietnam are very pretty. I went there last September. The weather was OK, not too hot and sometimes raining. When we had heavy rain, road changed into river in HCMC. Angkor Wat must be very interesting place but it's not safe journey I think. There are many Backpackers at Internet Cafe in Vietnam, they will help you. Have a safe journey!
  14. I don't think we feel so much when we are in the nature.
  15. Ah, my BF told me I'm the suspicious position...
  16. It's kind of rumour. I don't know when big earth quake coming very well. I just heard it and realized many places warn us to prepare for water, the place to meet the family or something like that. When the Hanshin big one came, I was in San Diego and my dad's colleague told us it happened. I remember that very well. I didn't know it was so big and bad but I realized it was so bad from news paper. It had the name of sacrificed, they used 3 or 4 papers for them. And I was working for the housing industry at that time and many people went to Hanshin to build new houses. But most of them was so
  17. Yeah, I felt it. I've heard big earthquake coming to Tokyo area in this week. So I was worried very much when I felt it. But it wasn't so big.
  18. Did anyone watch World Judo Championship? It was very exciting! I love Ippon gachi!!
  19. Hi echineko, Do you remember what we learned at school? "Kobun" and "Kanbun". Nobody use those language now, either.
  20. I'm thinking to go to Tsugaike this winter. Maybe end of December. I haven't skied in the Hakuba area before. Where is the biggest resort in Hakuba?
  21. I went to see an installation in Ginza yesterday. "Happy Trail" Making skis and enjoying self-made skis can be art because they are artists love skiing! I envy them. If you want to feel snow (in the video), go to see the garage at Shiseido Gallery! It's free entrance.
  22. If you live near Tokyo, Yamanashi area good for beginners, I think. The mountains are not so high and most of resorts have flat space at the foot of the slope. After you learned skiing several times and go to Hokkaido, that'll be perfect. Good luck!
  23. How about elevator? In Japan people stand on the left and in UK on the right. I was confused first week here and there.
