I believe the term was originally coined on this forum.... by whom, I don't know. It seems like a pretty big underground movement at the moment, but I think it could go mainstream like skiing or snowboarding one day. word has it... there may be a video in the works.

well since this weekend was the epic junk food weekend for me. I must say jaga-butter chips kick-ass, and choco-bari ice cream bars are dee-licious. I'm glad I grabbed those oreos from you zwelgs! oreos for breakfast this morning...mmmmmmmmm.

Regardless of the crap conditions and limited running lifts up at Niseko, had a blast with great company, and the guys up at Hirafu Chalet were super cool as always. We managed to find a few nice stashes here and there, and while it still remains in the underground.... "viva la revolucion"!

Most impressive trick I saw was this weekend. Buddy of mine pulled a backflip headplant off a monster tabletop (helmet-less), and then couldn't remember anything for the rest of the day. ......very scary... either that or the T.C. Headstand DB pulled off 3 times. YOU..... KNOW.....!

I would have to say the pointdexter is mine. People in the "revolution" know what i'm talkin about.

I eat my share of junk food, including everything required to satisfy my sweet tooth. It always draws the "amai mono suki da ne" comments from my japanese friends. There's this whole weird food gender association thing that goes on in japan, so I guess it's "not cool" for a guy to eat sweet stuff. I say bring on the sweets!

I think he provoked a good discussion, and brought db back! p.s.- Enderz is a very cool laid back dude in person, and just like everyone else, he's entitled to rant every once and a while. While it's 100% cool to disagree or trash his post, some of the posts in the beginning, personally attacking him, were pretty lame.

All this tuff-guy stuff is really lame. Your friend sounds like the type of guy that gives foreigners a bad name here. I can sort of understand the smoking thing... (althought there are probably 100 better ways to resolve that situation than to bark at the guy and then grab the cigarette out of his mouth). Tackling the guy because he thought he was gonna get jumped is bullshit.... wtf is that? ...and all of you guys posting about the macho surfing stuff.... sounds like you need some anger management classes.

Well I see where you're coming from about the ppl who grew up here, but I think most of the foreigners on tv, if not all of them, weren't born here. Theres no real reason why I should dislike any of them.... there's just something about them that really annoys me... Especially that dude with the really bad slicked back bleached hair. btw- Bobby is hysterical! I met one of those guys once (Eric - the dude with the afro). Super nice guy.

It was almost impossible for me to find an apartment in tokyo when I moved here (even with a japanese roomie). 90% of the landlords told the realtors I went to 'no gaijin'. That reaaaaly pissed me off. ....I'm not too sure on this, but I thought Japan had anti-discrimination laws.... anyone know?
