I had some meetings today at work. One was called "Friendly Meeting" - where we were supposed to chat freely and be friendly. Then we had a break "Coffee Time" Then there was the "Table Discussion" - where it was a bit more structured than before. At the end there was "Let's Comment Meeting" where we were allowed to comment..... guess how many people did! It was a very fun day. Loved the names of the meetings.

Well I bought some toyu last night and got the heater out. Smelly it was too, had it pointing out the window for the first 30 minutes or so to get rid of the initial smell. Nice to have the heater out though, it means winter is on its way.

My ladyfriend tells me her 'wind' smells of roses. Not too sure about that, but I play along with it..

Someone came round to me the other night and pretty much ran away when they saw I was a gaijin. Perhaps me just being in my boxer shorts contributed to the scariness for them.

I watched that last night as well, I like it. Love the aliens in that one and the human head on the dog etc. Tons of little funny things going on.

No end doom prediction really this time. Just one of the tarento got a photo out of his pocket from 2 weeks ago that showed one of the jishin clouds that appear 2 weeks before a big jishin. Lots of "eeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhh"s followed, then the ads. A bit of an anticlimax actually.

I've not lived in both so can't really say. I'm not sure I'd like to live in a big city anyway, it just doesn't appeal to me.

If I was coming to Japan from Australia, Niseko would be the last place I'd choose. I'd try to hit up somewhere in maybe less popular places - maybe somewhere like Gunma or Yamagata. Whether you can get something of course is a different matter.

You know the relationship you have with the company as a whole, etc and how much they need your company. I'd probably do it if I (generally) valued them. However much many people may think lots of things are bullshit, they still do it.
