don`t know about that one you mentioned, but there are usally countless comps. somewhere every week here. this weekend @ Nango is the Tohoku branch of JSBA`s (japan snowboard assocciation) annual comp. half-pipe, slopestyle & boardaX. tha week after that... who knows? it`s sooo difficult to keep up with it all. but lots o`fun

while not a big fan of anything K2, i did sneak a preview of next years line-up, and one thing which caught my eye was their bindings. they`re a hybrid mix of flow, and strap-ins. you can enter from the rear (my fav. point of entry), or yacan go tha traditional strap-in. they don`t appear to be as troublesome as flows. i.e. lots of fiddling around `til ya find tha right setting for you. ya have tha convienience of step-ins, and tha comfort of stap-ins. if i didn`t like my bindings so much i`d probly get a pair...

saw tha flick last night- great movie, great story, great acting, great shooting. kinda sad, had to hold back tears a cuppla times... deff. thumbs up here

i maintain that tha best day i`ve EVER had in terms of `pow pow`, was in hokkers in march! ( first or second week- can`t rememba ) we `poached` tha summit and scored waist-deep the entire way down. keeping that in mind, i`m also thinkin` about makin tha trip up there too.

BUT, i bought them in `98 in b.c. and have averaged 30+ days a year. oh, and btw low pressure dude, the inner is a GLOVE!!! deff. way ta go. warmth of a glove, and practicality (less stitching) of a mitt. yas have been told!
