yamakashi, even with the card adapter your computer should still recognise it (my computer > E: drive or something) i use a card in my laptop and never bothered installing the software because i just drag the photos out of the folders in the E:

i find the australian accent on women alot harsher then men with an australian accent. over the years ive lost my australian accent (depending on where i am, i am either south african, a brit, or an aussie ) but when i go back i cant help but cringe at how some women talk. the australian tone of voice seems to fluctuate up and down on a word to word basis and it just sounds effing terrible. end of huge generalisation. dont be offended.

thanks again! im in japan for 3 weeks at the moment. im heading to niigata next week with the family. when i get back to canada i will probably hit up blue mountain in ontario and a week in the eastern u.s might be in the cards. but im in uni without access to a car or the funds to make it out as much as i'd like.

thanks sunrise. yeah im on a PC. it seems to be running ok now. itunes seems to be fairly temperamental. occasionally i get an error message, but i just leave it running and go away for a bit and it seems to eventually get the songs on there. not ideal though! ok, and is it possible to delete songs off my computer now that i have them on ipod? because its synchronised with itunes, does that mean if i delete songs off my computer they will disapear from the ipod? anyone? cheers!

urgh, i think my computer hates my ipod. last night i managed to get 3000 or so songs on to it without a problem. then when i went to add more this morning a warning error keeps popping up and iTunes refuses to recognise that its plugged in. great - now it has completely stalled on the "do not disconnect screen" even when ive shut my computer down. i cant turn it off or do anything. i guess i will have to wait for the battery to run completely dead.

i joined the ipod world yesterday. i am now the owner of a 40 gigger.

log cake is a sponge type cake in the shape of a log. with icing. my grandma in australia makes it with whiskey icing so the whiskey diffuses through to the sponge.

xmas fruit cake is rank. its too gluggy and heavy. xmas log cake on the other hand is rather delightful.

yeah just got gmail now. so 250mb seems like jack.

i SAW it friday before halloween. it was pretty good - it was a bit terrifying while i was watching it but the effects didnt last.

more often then not, eating in the morning makes me ill. its usually just a banana for me.

definetly taking the ipod plunge as soon as i stop spending money so much money.

my room mate in boarding school tried killing herself. i found her on the bathroom floor with blood dripping from her wrists. it was terrible. you think you know someone so well and then that happens.

my parents place in tokyo has a small garden. no grassy area, but a patio and shrubs, flowers etc.

there have been a few incidents recently her in toronto of kids getting attacked by pit bulls and the like. there's a plea to get them banned. my brother was bitten by a german shepard when he was younger. he was walking along military rd in sydney (a pretty busy road) and the dog just randomly bit him on the arm. glad your mum is ok though.
