  2. Alpen ridge in Niseko at night after a dump Les Grand Montets, starting at the Bochard Station, winding down to the Chamonix valley..... 1600m odd of verticle drop. Having the chamonix valley opening up in front of you as you wind down is truly amazing. i think it was the run used for the super G downhill in the Albertville winter olympics. if you ever get the chance... DO IT!!
  3. maybe thats the reaction after seeing mogski's "big thing"
  4. Usually round 8-10hrs a day, that includes work and surfing at home most evenings. maybe only 3-4 hours in total on weekends, depending on how hooked on "medal of honor" i am at the time gee now i think about it its kinda scary!!!
  5. ive had some pretty big benders in my time, but a few that i do manage to remember are: 19 bottle of beer at a mates BBQ, 3 bottles of cheap aud$4 red wine at Fusina in Venice followed by 2 blue (dont know the name of them) cocktails and a few pints - boy did that night end in tears!! Another night that will go down in History was at the old JAM bar in Niseko a few seasons ago where they had the traditional opening season Nomi-Hodai (pardon spelling) that was a mega night and have the video to prove! but the longest drinking binge i think i have had was a 15 hour drinking m

  8. calm down barok, if the - dare i say it... nah i wont - yanks (is that better?) would lighten up a bit and become a bit more open minded then i think they wouldn have to call their FRENCH fries - "freedom fries" yeah for sure Ocean, seems like the french are the ones to look up to in all of this... not just black ban boycot, stick a band aid on it and hope it will all go away.... they seem to be the ones with the real democracy these days.... having a president who listens to the people... not like flack jacket johnny howard, blair or bush
  9. seems like the seppos havnt learnt anything from 9-11. they havnt learnt that they have a problem in being so ignorant to whatever is not american
  10. i guess it is just he luck of the draw liquidX
  11. Those snow skates have actually been banned from some of our resorts here in Australia! (in particular thredbo) seems the ever happening fun police got a hold of the idea and decided that we werent allowed to use them any more, their reason being that you can injure someone if they get away from you (they musnt have had leashes attached to the decks in question). call me paranoid but i think the real reason had more to do with the fact that you didnt have to buy a lift pass to use one therefore the guys that riding them were mucking around at the base of resorts building rails et
  12. frannyo, well after being glued to the tv most of the weekend watching the action, i am a little convinced that the new rules will make the sport a little more enjoyable to watch and in saying that it certainly did make it a closer race! i am not saying that i agree with the new rules (in particular the telemetry hoo-haa.... thats crazy) mearly saying that it may make things closer. the teams will have to adapt to it, and maybe once they do then we may go back to the old days of scuderia 1 & 2 on the podium. but all in all, it was one of the most enjoyable races in recent years!

  14. klingon uh there are a few changes/upsets in the grid so far, but it is only preliminary. yeah it was on TV here in oz (and still is) not sure which "empire" you are in but channel 10 now has the F1 coverage (thank the lord) channel nine has given up on trying to cover motersport altogether and is concentrating on the foot(yob)ball as they always do (surprise Surprise). good thing since they have been doing a woefull job in the past few years!!!
  15. yeah and they only just made the female contraceptive pill legal in 1999?!?!?! apparantly the decision was made so late because they wanted to keep the abortion industry alive?!?!?! bit sick and twisted i think!!

  19. walking through Soapland in Saporro a few seasons ago for the first time was quite interesting.... when we would walk past an "establishment" the bouncers just ignored us but you would see a nihon-gin walk past and the bouncers would go nuts trying to get the guy in!!
  20. I think the FAI have really excelled themselves (not)this time around!!! I think it would have to be the most rediculous/ludicrous rule changes since the grooved tyres were introduced. READ: THEY SUCK let me get this right, as i have only heard rumours and read no actual news article on it. have they gone ahead and removed all telemetry from the vehicles???? what century do we live in?? they may as well give shuey and the boys an old sterling moss car to race in!!! this i believe is one of the biggest steps back the sport has ever made
  21. correct me if i am wrong but hasnt chili have the longest run in the world weighing in at around 20kms?? what a leg burner!!
