Been said before but that area while really great just takes too much bus/car time getting around. If only they were closer together. I suppose with places like Yuzawa and Hakuba lots of us are kind of spoilt(ed?) in that respect.

I used to play loads of tennis and squash and go swimming a lot too. Sadly I don't do any of those any more. Play football with a bunch of friends once a week but outside of winter that's about it.
